ARTWORK GUIDELINES
You can send us your artwork by email, or by uploading with your order *.
When sending artwork, please follow these guidelines -
File must be in format suitable for PC, not MAC. Formats preferred -
CDR, AI, EPS, PDF - For Corel Draw please convert all text to curves (Ctrl+C) before sending.
For Illustrator convert all text to curves with create outlines (Shift+Ctrl+O) before sending.
We can accept files up to Coreldraw X4 or illustrator CS3.
JPG, TIF, GIF, BMP, PNG - best results from 600 dpi at actual size and CMYK.
Microsoft word documents (.doc & .docx) and graphics created with PowerPoint, Excel, Word or WordPerfect are not acceptable. If your artwork has been created in one of these programs please convert to PDF format before sending.This can be done for free online here -
Graphics downloaded from web pages are not suitable for print reproduction. These images are
low resolution (usually 72 dpi) which are suitable for screen display but are far below acceptable standards for printing use.
Colours are matched as accurately as possible. Given variation in colour of computer monitors,
we cannot guarantee perfect colour accuracy unless you supply us with a Pantone # (PMS).
Failure to comply with the guidelines above may result in unsuitable output which The Emblem Co.
cannot be held responsible for.
When emailing artwork, please give your attachment an appropriate specific name
and use this name in the 'subject' bar too. Please do not use generic terms such as
'club logo','our badge' or 'artwork'.
*uploaded artwork must be in one of the following formats - jpg , gif , tif , png
and no larger than 5 mb.
For your own protection we state that your order calling for the reproduction of a crest or similar motif implies that you have obtained permission to commission the reproduction, which may or may not be subject to copyright.
